Services

Services are held in the church on Sundays and Thursdays and follow a regular pattern throughout the month.

Service liturgy (the words we say) comes from Common Worship (CW – ‘the red book’ for Holy Communion, or ‘the green book’ for Morning Prayer) or the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). Liturgy for our All Age services and Green Communion comes from various other authorised sources.

Music

Most of our hymns come from Songs of Fellowship, and the sung liturgy we use at Holy Communion (the Gloria, Sanctus & Benedictus, and Angus Dei) comes from Richard Shepherd’s “The Addington Service”.

On the 1st Sunday of each month we have music from our ‘house band’ Windy Strings.
During the rest of the month music comes from our recently partially restored Grade 1 listed Abbott & Smith pipe organ, or our Blüthner grand piano.
