A photograph of the two new raised beds. They are made of wood and full of soil. In the background is a tree and the south side of the church, a gravel path runs to the left of the beds.

The Green Space

Illustrated map of church gardens showing labelled areas including a wildflower meadow, storytelling area, community planters, quiet garden, terrace, and seating areas around a large central church building.

Our churchyard has been undergoing some very exciting work to make it into a green space for everyone in the community to enjoy. There’s still a lot of work to do but the Green Space is now open and you can follow our prayer walk or see the Heritage Trail below. You can see some of the other developments on our dedicated page

Using our Heritage Trail
We hope you enjoy exploring our churchyard using these adult and family Heritage Trails. There are nine posts with QR codes in the locations numbered on the map or you can follow the links below. Every location includes interesting facts. There are links for adults and a family version with information and activities suitable for children, so that they can explore alongside their adults.
If you wish to listen rather than read, audio versions for each location will be added to the website soon.
